SERVICING - PORSCHE 6000 MILE SERVICE
- Change engine oil and filter
- Check gearbox for leaks
- Check rear axle for leaks
- Visually check fuel tank, lines, and connections for leaks
- Check condition, position, and mounting of exhaust system. Examine for leaks
- Check power steering system for leaks (where applicable)
- Remove front and rear disc pads, clean pads and calipers, check thickness and condition of brake discs and pads.
- Bleed brakes
- Check steering for absence of play and condition of suspension front and rear
- Check brake and clutch (where applicable) system connectors and lines for leaks, damage, and incorrect positioning
- Check for free movement of hand brake cables and adjust if necessary
- Check all tyre pressures. Correct if necessary
- Check condition of tyres, tread wear and pattern
- Check engine cooling system/heater hose connections for leaks
- Check coolant level and antifreeze protection level; add coolant if necessary (where applicable)
- Check level of brake and clutch (where applicable) fluid in reservoir; add fluid if required (where applicable)
- Check windscreen washer fluid level and antifreeze protection. Fill up and/or correct if necessary
- Check heating and air conditioning (where applicable) for operation
- Check battery condition
- Check lighting system
- Check instrument panel and dashboard illumination
- Check all warning/indicator lights
- Check wiper and washer system(s); wiper blades, washer jet positions
- Check condition and function of seat belts
- Grease bonnet, boot and door hinges and latches
- Check central locking
- Replace A/C pollen filter as applicable
- Road test vehicle
