Our car is in excellent condition, drives fantastically and is HPI clear. We purchased this car earlier in the year, used her for a bit, then restored her.
The clutch was a bit on the heavy side so we fitted a new one with a new slave cylinder too. The brakes were also nearing the time for renewal so new pads went in the front and new discs and pads in the rear.
Finally, we removed all the trims and glass and treated the car to a full repaint. She appeared to be in her original paint and had the odd stone chip and mark here and there, but, crucially, no evidence of any damage anywhere (the data sticker is present and original in the boot for example).
Once completed, we detailed the engine bay a little and cleaned off the underside (revealing the thin, light coloured underseal) and applied Waxoyl.
Then we took her on a trip to Le Mans to watch the race and check everything was back together as it should be - it was and we had a great time (try the Porsche Club GB site if you’re thinking of going - it is very good indeed).
Originally the car came with non standard cross spoke alloys, we changed these back to the correct Cup 2’s on return from Le Mans (we still have the previous wheels if anyone prefers them when they come and view the car). Please see the photo’s of the car with these fitted on its trip to Le Mans.
The service history was always great, but we then set about tracing as many bills as possible and found almost all of them, so now there are not only all the books with the car and a fully stamped service book, but also almost all the invoices too!
It’s previous owner wanted to take the children out for a drive so had a leather, comfort interior fitted with fully electric seats in the front and the rears with inertia reel belts fitted too.
Our car also has a factory sunroof fitted and the original Porsche immobiliser.

Impeccable. The service book contains 14 stamps, either Porsche Centre’s or specialists.
There are loads of invoices for service work and 11 MOT’s from 1998 to now. The car will be sold with a new MOT and fully serviced.
Not much, perhaps a bit more engine bay detailing, one fog light is cracked and the cassette tray cover is a bit marked.
Really very great condition 968CS, brilliant history, loads of work undertaken by previous owners, drives great and will hold it’s value very well - interest rates are coming down, why not put the cash into one of these! You can then drive your cash too!
