DESCRIPTION

This car is being sold on behalf of a long standing customer, we have in fact known the car since 1998 and looked after it from then until now.

The car is in excellent condition and is one of the last 635CSi’s made, drives fantastically, is HPI clear and has a full service history. The bodywork was the subject of restoration some years ago including new front wings (the common trouble spot) and is still extremely good today being virtually unmarked. The interior is of an unusual high standard in lotus white leather.

The car has had only two owners, has covered 120,956 genuine miles (all MOT Certificates available), has been very little used recently and garaged continuously since 1992. We have recommissioned the car ready for sale. This has included a new, stainless steel exhaust system, Inspection II service plus sundry other work including full wax oiling of the underside.

Previously, a new petrol tank was fitted due to corrosion of the original, and the gearbox electronics replaced and updated - note this car has the four speed, switchable auto gearbox.

The wheels have been changed to 15 inch items to make tyre replacement easier and more economical, Goodyear F1’s are currently fitted and have almost new levels of tyre tread.

Ready for its new owner and carrying a full years MOT, this really is an excellent 635 Highline with none of the usual trouble spots.

Excellent. The service book contains 18 BMW Dealer stamps then 6 of our own covering from new to now.

POINTS OF IMPROVEMENT

Very little really, the nearside rear window switch is temperamental, and the headlight wash wipe system requires work, but other than that not much else - this car is really very good.

SUMMARY

Excellent condition, in engine bay and underneath, drives very well, with common 6 series problem areas resolved. Nice colour combination of Macau blue and white leather, scrupulously maintained and ready for many more miles and outings.
